With many years in study for information sciences and technology, I have acquired skills that are vital to software programming. This includes data collection, database creation, software design, and other general skills.
In addition to my technical skills, I have strong project management skills. I have experience in leading teams of students and ensuring that projects are completed on time.
I am passionate about designing fair and unique challenges that appeal to all skill levels. With my extensive experience with games and the thought that goes into creating them, I have extensive knowledge about what players want.
A strong emphasis on group projects and teamwork has led to many successful outcomes in my educational environment. Team-based projects have helped enhanced my leadership, planning, and communicative abilities.
Courses in Information Sciences and Technology such as: IST 210, IST 240, and IST 301 have enhanced my ability to further develop my passion for game development and programming as a whole.
Equipped with a wellspring of ideas combined with both acquired and continually developing knowledge, I aspire to enhance my skills related to the creation of games.
IST 301 Facebook Problems Presentation
In this project, we were required to determine several problems with Facebook's organization process, and ascertain probable causes and solutions. By carefully examining the software and terms of service, we outlined noticeable problems that Facebook faced along with multiple remedies for said issues. To tie it all together, we gathered the information into a document created to help Facebook recognize these problems and solutions. In this document, my part was to create the introduction and the conclusion while reaffirming the findings in a reasonable and structured manner.
IST 220 Sports Game Project
For this project, we were presented with the challenge of creating a network that allows anyone over a 10 acre area to connect to the internet. Through our proposal, we determined the necessary hardware, software, and the setup for the project. My role in this project was to determine the needed software, such as security and connectivity programs, as well as discerning the most cost-efficient solutions.
IST 210 Flix2You Problem Proposal
Through this group project, we were tasked with submitting a proposal to a video rental company to assist in the expansion of their operations. My part in this project was to demonstrate the appearance of the final product, as well as provide code to establish how the videos will be automatically sorted.
IST 110 Technology Video Project
Through the course of the semester, I led this group project dedicated to making a video exploring a specific technology; transportation in AI. Six group members collaborated to create the final video that formed a varied and interesting presentation. My part in the video was to describe the history of AI in technology as well as complete final edits.

Programming is something I aspire to continue learning. I have worked with the programming languages Java and SQL, and want to expand my repertoire to other languages, such as JavaScript, Python, and C++.
A job in game development has been my dream for a very long time now. I have always wanted to be involved in the creation of my childhood games, and have dedicated my schooling process towards learning programming and coding, in the hope that I will one day be able to fulfill my dream.
Writing is an essential skill to many computer science careers, and I am steadily developing my proficiency in this area. I will be developing both my creative and practical writing skills, in order to improve my code cleanliness and system documentation.
Art is a skill that is not often associated with computer science, but it is important to learn if one wishes to appeal to customers with a website. Through learning the skill of art, I have been able to objectively evaluate my creations in coding, and better recognize what the customers want to see.
I am an active scout in the Boy Scouts of America organization. I am learning important life skills related to outdoor survival and leadership, and aim to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout by the end of 2024.
I am creating a small card game for a niche indie game. As a hobby, I am developing practical rules and cards, and envisioning the structure of play. While still in the early development stages, this is teaching me other aspects of game design.
